In my newest video, I attempt to understand why the Republican Party is so incapable of mounting a consistent and united opposition to President Obama and his extreme policies.

I describe the glaring lack of leadership coming from both political parties and I highlight some of the many inconsistencies that exist within the Obama administration.

One of the more noteworthy inconsistencies involves the signing of the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty by Secretary of State Kerry. Mr. Kerry opined in part: “"This is about keeping weapons out of the hands of terrorists and rogue actors. This is about reducing the risk of international transfers of conventional arms that will be used to carry out the world's worst crimes.”

That seems ironic knowing that the Obama administration seems intent on arming Syrian rebel forces. These rebel fighters come from a myriad of sources, many with direct ties to known terrorist groups.

On the same day the Secretary signed the treaty, we learned that massive amounts of highly sensitive U.S. military equipment had been stolen from a facility in Libya. The equipment is now thought to be in the hands of terrorist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Secretary spoke quite highly of the treaty, but I guess there was no provision addressing the pilfering of U.S. military equipment!

On March 1, budget cuts brought about by the sequester went into effect. What is the sequester and where did it come from? The current incarnation of the sequester came about during the debt ceiling debate of 2011. It was passed as part of the Budget Control Act, which President Obama signed in August of that same year.

The proposed Keystone XL Pipeline project would connect the oil sands in Alberta Canada to the United States gulf coast. This nearly 1700 mile distance would be spanned by way of a 36" pipeline. This would allow significant new oil supplies to flow to refineries located in Texas. TransCanada originally submitted an application to the U.S. Department of State to build the pipeline in September of 2008.

It is reported that actual pipeline construction and ancillary activity will create tens of thousands of new jobs along the route. Follow on maintenance would continue to provide jobs after completion of the pipeline. And how can an abundant source of oil from a neighboring ally be ignored when alternate supplies are often threatened by world events?

The year 1776 was coming to a close. General George Washington and his Continental Army had suffered another defeat at the hands of the British and the Hessians. Fort Washington (the General's namesake), The Hudson River and the state of New York itself, were now under British control. Half of Washington's army had been captured or killed.

On many occasions, President Obama has said he believes in America, and thinks it is a great country. On this matter, I wholeheartedly agree. He also says he wants to turn things around by creating jobs, growing our economy and expanding opportunity. He frequently tells us he understands the issues we face and is doing everything in his power to improve our lives. However when it comes down to actually accomplishing these tasks, his ideas and policies have been quite harmful.
